Our church is sponsoring a reading plan for the New Testament called "The Summit." The idea is that you read 5 minutes a day, 5 days a week and then reflect on what you've read. If you'd like more info or a copy of the reading schedule, you can check it out at http://fbcnorth.org/Content/487.htm
The point of this blog is to give me a place to write down my thoughts on each day's reading, and hopefully, generate interest in my writings to help keep me motivated to make it through the entire process.

this sounds like an interesting plan, however I wouldn't want to limit myself to just 5 minutes on those chapters that contain meaty material or have 62 verses. I could spend 30 min-an hour on just 5 verses sometimes because they are so powerful and hold so much information. so don't rush your reading just to be able to say you read the new testament in a year. are there cross references with the reading you are doing also, or just strait forward--read this chapter today?
Also, I hope you have been reading since Jan. 1 or you gotta lot of catching up to do!
